NOBU AT PARK LANE
Set within the Hilton Hotel is one of Nobu's many international restaurants. The menu is Pan Asian / Japanese / Peruvian influenced. The restaurant is very modern and chic, if not slightly too clinical, where it could lack atmosphere if it was not busy but thankfully this is a very popular restaurant, so always a great atmosphere.
We went there on an Opentable / Bookatable offer – £39 4 courses & Prosecco
A glass of prosecco on arrival
1st Course
Tuna sashimi salad
with matsuhisa dressing
2nd Course
Assorted sushi selection
3rd Course
Chicken or salmon
with a choice of Teriyaki, Anticucho or Wasabi pepper
4th Course
Mango & milk chocolate mousse
yuzu sponge, mango & lime sorbet
So often when restaurants expand and open up more and more branches, then the quality of their food goes down. However in Nobu's case this has not happened. The quality of the food was surprisingly excellent.
This restaurant can work out quite expensive if a group of you go, but then you have to take into account that you are in the centre of London, in Park Lane, in a 5 star hotel! However if you manage to see one of the Opentable or Bookatable offers you must definitely take it up. The food is excellent and there is plenty of it. Alongside being set in a beautiful restaurant the value for money is incredible. We give this a good 8/10 and definitely recommend you to try it.
