Unfortunately the night we went they had run out of pork cheeks and decided to supplement it with a Pork Pie of all things. Personally we thought what a huge insult, you dont go to a Michelin star, fine dining restaurant to be given a "dry ol' pork pie" !! It's the sort of food that you buy from a petrol station from Ginsters for £1.49! And according to my guests, Ginsters do it better! My starter was also substituted and I was given 3 different types of onions on a crisp cracker. Which was a very poor substitute and really not very nice.The rest of the meal was good. However we have been to this restaurant several times and although the dining room and views are spectacular, I'm afraid that the food standard doesn't match up. It is not bad food, and you can certainly have a decent meal, but it is just not great and with the high standard that is out there in London now in competing restaurants well...!!

I recently was told that the handsome French presenter and maître d’ Fred Sirieix from the TV programme First Dates, is actually the general manager of this restaurant. So it might be worth a visit just to see him!!.
